WHAT IS VIRTUAL GASTRIC BAND HYPNOSIS?
The Virtual Gastric Band is a remarkable weight control programme.
As the name suggests, the system utilises the concept of a “virtual” gastric band and clinical hypnotherapy. It successfully harnesses the power that every individual holds within them to make changes to their lives. Many clients have benefited from The Virtual Gastric Band therapy.
SO, WHAT IS IT?
The Virtual Gastric Band is a non-surgical technique which uses the power of hypnosis to retrain you to be satisfied with smaller amounts of food. It changes how you think about food and gives very safe, very predictable results. The clinical hypnotherapy convinces the brain that the stomach is full after a certain level of intake and that there is no need for more food. It is most definitely NOT a diet.
The Virtual Gastric Band allows you to eat what you want, but will enable you to enjoy smaller portions. You won’t feel deprived or hungry because you can still eat what you like.
The actual medical procedure reduces the physical size of the stomach, and may achieve the same result, but The Virtual Gastric Band can be undertaken quickly and privately, without the lengthy delay of hospital waiting lists, and of course carries no costly invasive surgery, no risks and no on-going medical treatment.

HOW DOES IT WORK AND WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?
The plan is 6 sessions over a 3 month period.
Sessions are online only currently.
The first 4 sessions take place once a week for 4 weeks privately one to one with me.
The 5th session is 4 weeks after.
The 6th session is 4 weeks after again.
The first session is up to 90 minutes.
Sessions thereafter are up to 60 minutes.
-It also includes a 22 minute relaxing hypnotic recording to be listened to daily. Most people find this a very therapeutic experience.
Relaxation is an important element I build into the plan. When you feel more relaxed you are more open to mindset change.
-The plan also includes a set of guidelines and strategies which I go through thoroughly with you.
These guidelines are an important element of the plan. You'll learn simple mindset tools to coach yourself through the differences between when your body requires food or when you're emotionally hungry.
-Also included is my support during and beyond the plan and contact out of sessions.
